The Monkeys and the Farmer
The Daily Struggle
A group of monkeys used to steal maize from a farmer's field every day. The farmer would chase them away with sticks to protect his crops. The monkeys couldn't eat as much corn as they wanted because of the farmer.
The Unexpected Event
One day, the farmer suddenly died. When the monkeys heard this news, they danced with joy, thinking their problems were over.
The Harsh Truth
But the next year, something unexpected happened. No farmer meant no corn was planted. The hungry monkeys finally realized the truth:
"The person they thought was their enemy was actually the one who produced their food."
The Important Lesson
