Once, during a job interview, the candidates were asked a very unusual question — one that left everyone stunned.

The question went like this:

“Imagine you’re driving your car on a stormy night.
As you pass by a bus stop, you see three people waiting there:

  1. A beautiful woman — the one you’ve always loved and wish to spend your life with.

  2. An old friend who once saved your life.

  3. An elderly woman who is seriously ill.

Your car can take only one passenger.

Whom would you choose to take with you?”

Now, you could choose the old woman, because it’s a matter of ethics — she’s the one in greatest need.
Or you could choose your friend, to repay the debt of saving your life.
But then you’d have to leave both the old woman and the one you love behind.

About 200 candidates were asked this same question.
Only one person gave a completely different answer — and he got the job.

Do you know what he said?

“In that situation, I would get out of the car, hand the keys to my old friend, and ask him to take the elderly woman to the hospital. Then I’d stay behind at the bus stop with the woman I love and wait for the next bus.”

That single answer changed everyone’s perspective.
It taught them to think differently — to look beyond the obvious choices.

Everyone wants to be successful,
but true success belongs to those who dare to think outside the box.

So always try to be unique.
